CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Every day we deal with many members of the public and whilst guidance has been relaxed we do not want to be responsible for any spread of this awful virus onto anybody, especially those who are vulnerable or elderly. We would like to advise you all of the steps we will be continuing to take to help limit the spread of this virus.
We would like to try and limit footfall and waiting where possible in our reception area. To do this -
  • We would encourage people to continue using our telephone booking system or our online booking system. We are always happy to take your calls and answer any queries on 01691 622421.  If you wish to book your vehicle in for just an MOT this can be done online using our free online booking system.
  • We will, where possible, extend our free collection & drop off service, especially for the more vulnerable and elderly of our customers.

  • For those who visit we would ask our customers to use our hand sanitising facilities when entering our reception area.  This is fully screened for your protection and any member of staff dealing with you will also wear a mask.
  • Currently our waiting area is still closed and we would encourage people to drop off their vehicles.  We will advise when completed and take payment over the phone or on collection.
  • When dropping off vehicles for any of our services we would ask that all touch points in your vehicle are sanitised for the protection of our staff. Sanitising products are also available in reception for your use. 
  • Our staff will continue to use protective gloves and covers on floors, steering wheels, gear sticks, seats and handbrakes. These are fully removed and disposed of before collection and all other touch points in the vehicle are sanitised.

  • You can be sure that our staff are taking every precaution to keep you safe and every member of the team takes a lateral flow test for Coronavirus twice weekly.

We appreciate your continued support through what is a very difficult and possibly lengthy time.
However extreme some of these measures maybe going forward we have a duty of care to protect our valued customers and our fabulous team here at Richards Auto Services.
